New Chair
Lift in Borovets - update
|
|
In one of our previous
newsletters we told you about the new four seater chair lift
on Markudjik-2
piste, which is replacing the old drag lift. Work continues on the
chair lift and as you can see from the picture below they are making
good progress to be ready for the 2008/2009 ski season. All the pylons
are in, the top wheel is installed and the building at the bottom of
the lift is completed.

Alpin
restaurant is situated across from the Rila Hotel. It has a
pleasant garden area for dining during the warmer months. T
he interior
is based on a traditional British bar/restaurant and has
a welcoming
atmosphere. It is very clean and the waiters are
friendly, although it
is a little pricey for what you get. Desserts
are good here!

Water Sports Fun Near Borovets
|
|
Summer
is not over yet and there is still time to go waterskiing or
wakeboarding! ‘SnowAndWake Bulgaria’ is a company specialising in water
sports on the shores of Lake Iskar. Their water sports center is about
a 20 minute drive from Borovets on the road to Sofia. Whether you would
like to get coaching from experienced instructors or have a more laid
back approach trying it out, there is a vast amount of fl at water to
have fun with….19km x 6km in fact.
The
founders of this company are two British g uys who are qualified
instructors so you are in good hands. They have the latest equipment
available and will ensure you have a great day on the water.
At
Chamkoria Chalets we will arrange day trips there for our guests who
have a zest for water sports…during the summer months of course!

Our New Office
|
 We
are pleased to announce that we opened our new office in Samokov during
August. It is located on Boulevard Iskar in Samokov, which is the
main
road from Samokov to Borovets. If you are visiting Borovets feel free
to call into our office and we’ll be happy to provide you with
information about our developments and the area. |

Build Update
|
|
The
apartment building has been making great headway over the last few
weeks. The concrete and steel work has been completed for the lower
ground floor, ground floor, and first floor. The concrete has been
poured for the second floor and the shuttering will be in place shortly
for the supporting walls.
