Chamkoria Chalets & Apartments

Construction updates

24 May 2009

Over the last two weeks we have had sunny weather and this has allowed the work to continue at pace.

The main work at the moment is on plastering the apartments and working on the outside of the chalets.

Several of the apartments have now been plastered and on the chalets we are continuing to install the wooden paneling and stone. On the top floor apartments we have also started to install the velux windows.

Next week 2 more teams arrive to begin plastering the inside of the chalets. This work will continue for a few weeks.

The weather is still cold and we even had some snow last week. However this has not stopped progress on the complex.

There are now over fifty workers on site and work is continuing on many items. The electrical and plumbing installations are continuing and the thermal insulation is almost finished.

We have also started plastering the inside of the apartment building. This work will continue for several weeks

On the chalets we have completed the walls of the balconies and installed steel beams to support the extra large windows on the top floor level. We have also started work on the wooden cladding for the outside of the chalets.
