We have picked Borovets for our latest development due to the huge investment and redevelopment being generated by the Super Borovets project. Over 500M euro is being invested in the resort with 100km of new pistes planned. Borovets is currently the top location for Bulgaria property investment because:
- The Super Borovets project is the largest ski investment project in Bulgaria and is investing over 500M euro into the area. The project now has Equest Balkan (a UK listed investment fund) and the State Fund of Oman as majority shareholders. These high profile investors bring with them significant funding and excellent international experience managing large scale investment projects. Our Chamkoria Chalets development is located right beside the land owned by these large investors and just metres from the new ski lift.
- Borosport Ltd is investing 70M Levs over the next 3 years to increase the ski pistes and facilities in Borovets. The pistes will increase to 120km.
- Borovets is less than 1 hour from Sofia airport and 90 minutes from Plovdiv airport which makes it the best connected resort in Bulgaria.
- 95% of Borovets is covered in forests and national park. This means there is very limited building land in Borovets and the area cannot become overdeveloped. This is very important for the future growth of your investment both in terms of resale and rental.
- Two 18 hole golf courses are are planned as part of Super Borovets. One of these courses is right beside our Chamkoria Chalets development.
- Property prices in the area are currently growing at 20% per annum.
