Over the last week Borovets has experienced some milder temperatures and fog. This has allowed the builders to continue work on the exterior of the buildings. Most of the apartments have had the windows frames installed and now they have also started fitting the double glazing panels.

Scaffolding has been erected around the apartment building and chalets to allow the installation of the thermal insulation to continue.

Welcome to the first construction update of 2009. We would like to wish all our customers a very happy new year. We hope it is a happy and prosperous one for you.

Over the Christmas period there has been limited work on the site. This is because the building team have been on holidays and also because we have had extremely cold weather. The temperature has been below -10 for several weeks.

Work however is continuing and you can see that the window frames have started to be installed. Before Christmas we also started work on installing the thermal insulation and you can see this on several of the chalets. Our main focus over the next few weeks is to continue to install the window frames and also to continue on the first phase electrical and plumbering fittings.

While the snow and cold temperatures are slowing the building process, on the other hand the skiers and boarders are having a great time in the resort. Conditions are excellent at the moment. Yesterday we had our first day sking for this season and the weather and conditions were beautiful. Clear blue skys, beautiful sun and plenty of snow. We have included some photos of the resort to show you how beautiful it is at this time of year.
